RE: Superglide problem

UPDATE Parents talked to pullrite and montana both of there conserns were not a frame problem or damage to the fiver except for the capture plate but damage to the fiver hitch in the tow vehical. So now it is time to go talk the dealer they said there would be no damage at all and the capture plat would be fine? how the capture plate would be ok? well while looking at it the Welded on plate it fell off just missed some toes! Dealer order them a new capture plate and will install it did not say who will pay for it? But here is the best part of the story they charged them $300.00 For towing 7 miles!!!! My opinion is kiss my butt and i will not be back!!!! Dont know if i should post the name and location of the dealer? P.S. My parents purchased the 3400 montana and all there goodie at that dealership.

Superglide problem

My parents and I both use pullrite superglides. well heres what happend to them today... on the way to the dealer with their 2006 3400 montana the truck quit dealer came to get fiver my mom told them it was a auto slider driver said ok..... then it happened first corner bang and crunch second corner metal grinding. Well the adapter plate is welded on. Here is the question could this bend the frame, the pinbox or anything else and how and were do they check for damage? they know the adapter plate is junk.

RE: Which hitch weight?

I have a pullrite superglide with super rails. Best way to install and remove is with a small chain fall hung from the rafters. Mine can be removed or installed in about 10min with no help. HAPPY CAMPING

RE: Sidewinder, Superglide or HiJacker

I personaly looked at all my options new pin box, manual slider, auto slider, no slider, my objective was in this order safety, convenance, and how much to SPEND. We are a young family money is tight like it is with everyone. But we went with the superglide and super-rails it was the most money but i have a hitch i can use the rest of my life. If i went with the pinbox and bought a new fifth wheel would it have fit maybe maybe not. just my opinion Happy Camping!

RE: 1/2 TON TV for 5th Wheels, any 5Wtrailers light enough...

I own a Keystone Hornet 255 Being pulled by a 2002 dodge ram 1500 with a 5.9L 10mpg at 62mph. there is a picture on my profile. Happy Camping!

RE: Hitch and brake controller advice?

Tekonsha Prodigy works great for me. I would look at Pull-Rite's Super 5th non slider with superbracket about $800. When you remove the hitch your bed is completely empty. Happy Camping.

RE: New to 5th wheeling

Don't skimp on your hitch, slider non slider what ever you need. I and a lot of other agree the way PULL-RITE Has their hitch systems set up is the way to go. The way I look at it is pay a little more now for a lot less headache later. HAPPY CAMPING

RE: Why Don't You Wave?

I'am 38 i figure that is a couple GENERATIONS behind you. Please don't ASSUME just because we are younger that we are LAZY, BAD, MEAN, people because we don't wave. Us LAZY, BAD, MEAN, people work 50 hours a week are also firemen on the side and still have time to spend with family camping. Just remember if it was not for the next who would be around to do C.P.R. !! Happy Camping

RE: Fredericksburg VA to Michigan UP: any suggestions?

North bound I-75 at the zilwalki bridge( that is not the correct spelling) is a big back up. Bridge is under construction again. take I-675 thru Saginaw it will only take 10 min max. P.S. this is Saginaw Michigan. Happy Camping
